The GRECC at Gainesville, Florida finds ways to improve healthcare and enhance quality of life for older veterans and their caregivers.

We strive for excellence in each of our three missions:
researcheducation and clinical innovation.  Our research encompasses the spectrum from basic biology to health services research.  Our educational programs are aimed at training today’s as well as tomorrow’s providers in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, social work and other health professions.  Our clinical innovations seek to provide patient centered and cost-effective care for the increasing numbers of older veterans and their caregivers.

Furthermore, we have a wide variety of fruitful collaborations with our affiliate, the University of Florida, as well as other VA facilities.

Please let me know if you would like further information.
