Our veterans experienced many challenges during their military service. The pursuit of higher education can also be challenging. Factors such as feelings of alienation, nonsupport, test anxiety, attention difficulties, and learning disorders often contribute to these challenges. Veteran support, skills training, and academic advocacy can help with the challenges of success in the classroom.

How We Can Help
Psychology Service offers support groups and academic evaluations for veterans experiencing difficulty with the college setting.
Weekly support groups and academic testing are available on-campus for veterans. Peer support groups allow student veterans to discuss conflicts, hardships, and emotional stress in adjusting to college life.
