Spinal Cord Injury

About the Program

The Spinal Cord Injury Program at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System  was established in 2005. The program offers a variety of resources to ensure quality treatment for veteran patients.

Services Offered

Staff and physicians work closely with veterans with spinal cord injury, as well as with their family members and significant others, to ensure the highest quality of care.

We assist patients with spinal cord injury to —

  • enhance their health
  • improve functional abilities
  • maintain quality of life

These goals are met through patient education, clinical care, and participation in research.
